NOPE, SAYS THE BBC

So, if by some weird chance you didn't know what the BBC and Brian Taylor thought about independence, here is the answer. And we pay for this crap...

  1. Why is the Arab b*****d holding up a copy of the anti-Obama poster issued by the Republicans/Tea Party in the 2008 Presidential campaign?

    1. LOL...

Can you try to ask me easier questions, Barney, please?

      Multiple choice is good!!!

  2. Interestingly Taylor was viewed holding up this around 20 minutes after Obama said what Cameron wanted him to say. Advance warning anyone?

Nice to see the UKIP (spit) Channel, sorry BBC being as neutral as they have always been, what's that you say they haven't been neutral, well I'm b******d!

    1. That's interesting.

Well, the BBC asked the question (odd because you'd have thought they might have been asking about the war and sacrifice and things like that), having been told to by the Prime Minister's office.

So yes they had forewarning. I mean if Downing Street had specifically told them to ask the question, the answer was hardly likely to be: Yes, like the rest of the British Empire, including my own country, Scotland should be free from the pernicious rule of London." So it was a fair bet the answer was going to be negative.

The BBC someone patronisingly decided that the highly educated, scholarly president would simply have said "nope", but that's because they are used to the bunch of thick idiots with expensive degrees that pose as politicians and *snigger* "leaders" in Britain.

It's a tired old story, the BBC is as corrupt as anything out there in the sense that they are just the official propoganda arm of the state, Craig Murray is right in what he says but who is going to challenge them, no one because they are protected. I really think in the event of a no vote it will go two ways, people might be energised to take up the fight and make it very uncomfortable for Scottish Politicians in the sense that they will email, campaign etc for real change and will humiliate them by pointing out their lies or they will just switch off from the debate.

Brian Taylor is sadly just a joke now, he was in Dundee yesterday and we got him talking about his school and outside Tannadice wearing a Utd scarf. The man has become a parody of himself and how anyone can call him a political editor would be like saying DC Thomson is the go to for local political analysis. You get to the point where you just can't bothered with the BBC anymore, the sooner it is sold off the better and given how broke Osbourne has made the UK and his borrowing surely it can't be long now before it's sold to Sky and we get Fox News.

    1. I've now completely stopped using the BBC, Bruce. They sicken me. I used to listen to radio sometimes but I've tuned into Classic FM now on the rare occasions I feel the need to noise around the house.

The news is unashamedly London in basis, but at least I'm not actually paying for any of it.

Brian Taylor was always a bit of a joke with his ever expanding waistline and his 1980s braces. Now, as you say he's a parody...

  4. It's the company he keeps! Boothman etc in the BBC and his great pal Alan Cochrane (fellow Arab). He could have made a a good impartial analyst but he's lost the plot. Wonder what he gets paid for all the shit he exudes.

    1. They all get paid enormous salaries at the BBC. George ffoulkes once asked some tv presenter what her salary was. She answered £90,000...

£90,000 for presenting the tv a couple of hours a day?

      Sheeeesh...

    2. The payment is for their soul and not the on air time...

  5. Sorry but as a fat lass getting thinner, I have to say I keep waiting on Brian Taylor exploding. I do not think Mr Obama will want to be associated with what was a Republican Tea Party advert and slogan. Makes you wonder if these people should be in politics even as a commentator.

    1. I've no doubt that he should be presenting children's programmes, dressed as Humpty Dumpty, or Eric Pickles....

      Congratulations on getting thinner :)

  6. Sorry for the off-topic, but I tend to get an actual responce here, as opposed to Wings.

I'm currently living in Scotland, but I might be taking a job in Manchester soon.

What the hell does that do with the referendum coming, and where do I go to find out? (The other way is nice and straightforward...)

    1. I've no issues with off topic.

If you got something to say, why not say it. Why not?

Lord knows what the answer is, Illy. We're not that long away from the vote...3 months. When you move to another place it usually takes a while for you to move your electoral address. I'd imagine more than 2 months by the time you can move kit from one place to the other.

I would say that it's unlikely you would be able to get it changed by the time the referendum comes along. Of course you would have to arrange to be at home in Scotland on the day.

  7. Ah yes Brian Taylor who's catch phrase is Toodle poop the noo, the grubby wee man's female equivalent is Jackie (Two dinner's) Baillie, both care not for Scotland but for the union and their own interests.

As for the BBC, when David Cameron asked the BBC to ask President Obama via a question, about his opinion on Scottish independence the BBC broke the rules of neutrality, Ofcom should have taken them to task, they didn't, this has opened the door for the BBC to push the boundary even further, as we approach the final run in to the referendum.

The fact that Scots raise over £300 million quid in revenue through the TV licence, means absolutely nothing to the BBC who are hellbent on promoting the union's agenda' if anyone thought that the BBC would live up to its values then i'm sorry to inform you you're sadly mistaken the corrupt BBC will forever remain biased.

    1. We might as well accept that the UKok government and the BBC are working against Scotland and will be until September. They can get away with whatever they want, and they are mindful that, if they don't play ball with Cameron and his coterie of misanthropes, they will find that they won't be getting leave to increase their tv tax.

    2. What do you mean by "Until September", haven't the BBC been working against Scotland's interests, since Lord Reith's inception, and still Scots programmes are thin on the ground.

  10. I, kind of, know this is wrong. But the only thought I have ever had on that picture is:

    "aren't his hands aweful small?"

Was there a message I missed?
