Deletethe puma is adorable as were the little ducks. Been watching a documentary about New Zealand on iplayer. Did you know that more species of penguin live in New Zealand than any other country? But they don't have a munguin though - only Scotland. And it goes without saying that the orangs were delightful though I just said it.

Greenland looks nice. I doubt that my bus pass will be accepted there.
ReplyDeleteit looks fine in the summer, bit chilly and icy the rest of the time. But naw your bus pass won't work there. But there are some awfy pretty places in Scotland you can get too instead.

Can I just say Helena that my only contribution to fotos on Friday was the title and the pleading for there to be one. That Tris was the one who said speccy and furry. I'd never say things like speccy though furry possibly!

That's a fantastic photo of Afghanistan - it set me off on a youtube adventure of pre-Soviet invasion (or positive intervention, if you're a third-wayer) Kabul. I met an amazing woman in Glasgow a few years back who had been trekking in Afghanistan when she was a student. It is almost unthinkable now that it used to be part of the hippie trail.
