YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS HORRIBLY WRONG...

...WHEN IT'S ENDORSED BY THIS BLOKE

For the full sorry story head to the Daily Torygraph, where Blairites has-beens  like McTeacake and Bomber Harris  feel at home, for very little money.

    1. I'd say so, yes. Like so many people in New Labour, he lives in a different world from the rest of us.

    2. Let's hope no one notices and plugs him in then!

    3. And he runs out of fuel?

      Sounds like a plan.

  6. Every time I see or hear the latest from McTeacake, the more convinced I am that he is having a laugh. He has to be. No one can be that deluded surely?

    1. I'm not sure. He comes over as serious. Maybe he's just a good actor.

  7. Labour's standard of employees has plummeted since I left. To be fair, Prescott's speeches became more coherent as a result.

  9. Does Cameron have friends?
Tories usually only have old deceased aquaintances as a result of back stabbings who they prefer to forget Lang syne.

    1. I reckon we can say "friends" was used loosely here.

  10. I predict that I shall soon be elevated to the peerage. I shall be enrolled as Baron McTernan of Runnymede. I am a socialist in my own private way. I also like money. My lips are always pursed in imminent disapproval - like Mrs Campbell in Whisky Galore. I am splendid.

    1. Oh Lordy, as they say!.

Will you be sitting next to the Noble and Honourable Baroness Moan, My Lord?

If so "eyes front". That cleavage might distract you from serious matters of "The House". And if you have a Porche, don't go upsetting her.

McTernan only says the things he does because it keeps him in the news and he appears to be a bit mad. The honours list is an insult to us all, I think we should have something to celebrate REAL achievement, but I would rather have something like a people's medal and the public get to nominate for them as well as others. The honours system for me is about reinforcing the status quo and it is so silly. Naming someone Lord, how insulting is that! I just won't use those names, I remember meeting McConnel and everyone was saying Lord this Lord that, I just said hiya Jack. The same when I have met the Royals, I have never bowed and only shook their hand when they have offered it first, I can't stand all that crap. But McTernan, long may he stain the Labour Party and BBC Scotland Labour keep reporting the mad man.

    1. We use him here for comedic effect, Bruce!

I'm in total agreement with you. The only time I ever use these titles is to ridicule them.

They belong to a bygone age of fairly tales and princesses turning frogs into handsome princes.

Clearly that's something that happened in reverse with the brit royals!

  12. This is a prime illustration of why the Labour party is in terminal decline. I feel sorry for Taz in his daily struggle to drag Niko away from the edge of the cliff.
