MEMORIES OF THE LAST REFERENDUM...AND THIS ONE

AND A REMINDER OF WHAT'S BEEN BUBBLING UNDER WHILE ALL THIS EU STUFF HAS BEEN TAKING THE HEADLINES...

REMINDER: FOR SOME UNFATHOMABLE REASON, IT APPEARS TO BE AGAINST THE LAW TO PUBLISH THE WAY YOU VOTED WHILE THE POLLS REMAIN OPEN. SO I'D ASK YOU TO REFRAIN FROM DOING SO UNTIL 10 PM.

  1. Joe 90 got his powers from Big Rat, Gove 90 gets his from Boris Johnson...

I really cannot work out his appeal to voters in England, but then England is another country. By their low standaards, Tank Girl is an excellent politician. :(

    1. Meaning that I don't find Gove, or his politics, appealing in any way.
      I have my staandards. (Oops!)

    2. Understood DfI.

For me not one of them has appeal. Gove, IDS, Grayling, Cameron, Osborne, Farage, Heseltine, Patel, May, The Queen.

All of them live in a bubble that means they have as much idea how I live, as I have of how an undiscovered tribe in the Congo lives.

I still haven't been to the polls, although I walked past the station twice. I've no idea what or who I dislike more.

I wonder if the Queen will be purring at Dodgy Dave tonight!

  2. Bloody hell! I've just said which way I would vote on the Scotsman's comment? Who is breaking the law - me or the Scotsman? I'll just plead ignorance which is my usual defence...

    1. Aye, works for me John.

I just said on the last reply that I hadn't made my mind up. I wonder of one of May's Burly Men will be picking me up shortly.

I'll confront him with Munguin! That should sort him out.

    1. I trust you realise that you have alienated an entire species, Niko.

The next time you meet a Duck Billed Platypus , I hope he pecks you.

Gove wants to be Foreign Secretary. Can you just imagine...

  4. The negativity had been too much for me, so i have retreated to the garden with whoomphteen beers.
I have just planted a Campsis Rudicans'Flamenco', so maybe that is a hint to how i voted.

  5. The big fat guy with the Orange sash. Surely that's not a Hearts tie he's also wearing! He's a fanny anyway.

    1. LOL. I was so stunned by his beauty that I didn't notice the tie.

Dunno what it is but a wash wouldn't harm it!

Thank God it's nearly over. And in answer to John Brownlie - both - him for saying and the Hootsman if they don't remove it. The info that lives in ma heid.

Did anyone watch orang utan diary on iplayer?

    3. Erm, yes. I'm unlikely to ever use it to refer to THAT lot.

Well, if we never hear from the Hootsperson again, that will not bother me much, but if they come after our John... Munguin will be displeased, and we all know what that means, especially with his connections.

No. It's promised for tonight... what with there being nothing much else to do... :)
