US AND THEM...IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW...

This guy served a term with HM Forces and got a medal.
This guy did more or less 6 weeks in the Marines then left to get a job as the tea laddie with the Really Useless Company. It's handy having an influential mummy, isn't it, Eddie?

  1. why does Eddie have a plain skirt on and a bunny sitting on his hat?

Must admit loved the tag of "waste of space" - you are awful but I like you. (One for the Dick Emery fans...)

    1. Hmmm... Good question. The skirt? Maybe he's practising to be Eddie Izzard's understudy. The bunny? Search me, but I'll bet you our John or Conan will have the answer...them being men of the world!

Dick Emery...? I'm supposing your granny told you about him?

    2. It's the London Scottish Regimental dress of Hodden grey kilt. The medals are mummy's various jubilee gongs, no military ones that I recognize.

    3. For a minute, I thought he'd forgotten his kilt; and was desperately trying to lengthen his jacket.

    4. You wonder, Conan, what he has to go with Scotland. It kinda looked a bit mauve to me. In any case he looks a complete pratt.

I guess his medals are ones he got for having a mother that lived a long time. Some achievement, huh?

  2. Never even seen an angry man I'll bet, and all those medals!

They all certainly love their dressing up games don't they.

    1. The titles they give themselves for nothing out of the ordinary, like being born, reaching majority, getting married are such an insult to people who spend their lives doing charity work and getting a miserable MBE.

The medals they pin on their chests are an insult to people who actually did something for them.

I have no problems with the fact that Edward couldnt hack the Marines. If his father had had an ounce of common sense he would have seen it.

In a way it was brave of him to say, nope, can't do this and leave. He took a lot of stick for it.

But he's not a military man, what on earth is he wearing military garb and medals for?

I'd get lifted if I did that.

    1. A regiment he wasn't in then? LOL!

He didn't need to buy them on ebay though. Mummy gave them to him!
