SOPPY SUNDAY

  1. I know I'm being pedantic but that baby elephant lying in that water hole has featured many times on here lately, I know recycling is the in thing but really. Is that last one a rock pool?

The rattlesnake is just unbelievable in so many ways that the cynic in me thinks there is more to this than that picture alone tells.

    1. Oh sorry. I can never remember which ones I've put up... I'll get rid of it so it won;t appear again. The last one is a rock sculpture in Greenland.

    1. Thanks Gerry, and for your contribution!

      Much better thanks.

Wings now has an article on Ruth, who apparently hasn't learned that going around saying "SNP bad" isn't most people's idea of an alternative programme for government.

  3. CH is right, the baby elephant has featured a lot but I'm not complaining since he's so cute. Whilst you are putting him down humanely, please take the pigeon with it. I can't stand those flying rats. Now Tris is going to go all Buddhist on me and preach all things bright and beautiful.

Nice to see some macaques. Stands back to see if anyone knows what I'm referring to :=)

    1. Ah well PP, no need for me to say it if you already know it.

I was reading the other night, and there was this tiny little flying insect in the room. (S)he landed on the back of my Kindle and I was terrified that the movement of him hands would crush him/her. I couldnt turn a page till (s)he had flown off. They all have lives.

I reckon that some animals are more lovely than others, but, in the whole world no animal is as obnoxious and harmful as the human, so if there's any getting rid of to be done, I think I'd prefer to start on them.

Yep, I know the macaques... but I'll not spoil it.

    2. Funnily enough PP my wee Hektor doesn't care for them either, hasn't caught any yet but doesn't stop him trying. His favourite stomping ground for Pigeons it Perth High Street so if you are ever up there and you see a wee, well biggish Pug, duck.
Och I recognised the Elephant but I like him, soor plooms CH. I too am a bit worried about the Rattler and Dog, just do not see them being friends and worried about the dog. Other than that I love soppy Sunday.

    3. My wee Sweetie (worst name for a psychopathic sabre toothed Jack Russell ever. Except possibly 'Fluffy'.) has Hektor there.

I heard a *thump* on the kitchen window and the dogs went wild; I opened the door and out they rushed - the wee dazed cushie didn't have a chance...

But that's not the worst story.

  4. My wife and I always enjoy the Sunday pics.
It's nice to think that some creatures have empathy for each other, even if many humans don't.
    Thank you.
