How poignant that Margo is in that video, fantastic!
We can do this.
No sorry, we WILL do this.
We will do this for our kids, for our grandkids, for our elderly, for our disabled, for our fellow Scot and for Margo and all the others who have gone before but are not here in person to see us win but they WILL be with uis in spirit on 19th September when we WIN! :-)
Nice wee cheery video, that makes you fuzzy all over. Oh! but wait Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope, has said Scotland would be an outcast if we vote yes, that we'd be a threat to France and the USA two nuclear countries, if we decide to dump WMD's, add to this that NATO wouldn't want us nor the EU, and, if Lord Robertson is to be believed, Scotland would make North Korea look like a utopian state.
Its all doom and gloom I tell you, the end is nigh god help us all.
Sir Joseph. Of legal knowledge I acquired such a grip That they took me into the partnership. And that junior partnership, I ween, Was the only ship that I ever had seen. But that kind of ship so suited me, That now I am the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!
CHORUS. — But that kind of ship so suited he, That now he is the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!
Sir Joseph. I grew so rich that I was sent By a pocket borough into Parliament. I always voted at my party's call, And I never thought of thinking for myself at all. I thought so little, they rewarded me By making me the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!
CHORUS. — He thought so little, they rewarded he By making him the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!
Sir Joseph. Now landsmen all, whoever you may be, If you want to rise to the top of the tree, If your soul isn't fettered to an office stool, Be careful to be guided by this golden rule — Stick close to your desks and never go to sea, And you all may be rulers of the Queen's Navee!
Crikey ! Westminster was the same even back then
