    cat in the bath
I made the mistake of trying to put one of my cats in the bath once,
we're still cleaning the blood off the roof,
and the surgeons have said the scars should fade in time,
    which is nice. :).

      5) No, his neck is a brass colour; that's his face when any of us non-Eton/Oxford people challenges him.
      6) Ouch! I guess you'll never do it again!

  2. Thank god I have the dog trained john, he just walks into the shower and he has to stay in for ten minutes to get the stuff to work. I would not want to wash a kitten cause their claws are really sharp, Hubby had one run up his bare legs once and I believe it was not a nice thing.
That was strong stuff Munguin and Tris but needs to be said. Sick to death hearing all of them going on about North Sea Oil, the funny thing is that it is all good in the South, up here it is the ides of March. Kezia I am sick to death heaing you and it gives me this urge to punch the TV.

    1. We all knew that the oil wasn't;t going to stay cheap for long...

I think if I were Kezia, I'd probably not stand for leader. She agreed with everything Jim said, and look what happened to him.

I wonder when they are going to realise that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is not wise.

    2. It's not only "not wise" but, as Einstein said, it's the definition of madness.

  3. I like the anagram.
I've got two cats, a Bengal and a wee black and white one. They both love water and will happily go into the bath or shower, even the kitchen sink when I'm doing the dishes.

    1. There's an exception to every rule I guess. My neighbours cat loves to watch running water and if you want to distract him all you have to do it put the tap on...

    2. I think the wee one just copies, the Bengal. Bengals are bred from the Asian leopard cat, which is a wild cat native to India. These wild cats like to lounge about, in water and actively fish. So it must be an inherited trait.

  4. My cat is the same, jumps happily into the bath or shower. Must have been a dog in a previous life.

Please don't post pictures of IDS. I nearly punched the laptop. I hate him with a passion. Some Tory MPs I have time for, but this man is arrogant, patronising, inbred, chinless, monotone, aggressive, immoral, condescending, demeaning, belittling, tedious, useless...... running out of descriptions here.

He was bloody useless as a leader and even more as a cabinet minister. He simply does not understand how real people live, despite his claims of being unemployed and broke. I have no doubt that as a army officer he was the typical peacetime type who would be bloody useless in conflict.

I understand that housing needs to be sorted. I understand that there are families stuck in B&Bs. But you need to build more bloody houses before you start penalising those who cannot move through no fault of their own.

Oh and the Cameron colour chart is spot on!

    1. Hmmm... another cat exception!!!

Sorry about IDS... but it has to be be done.

He will go down on record as one of the most hated politicians of all time.

He's up there with the murdering war criminal Blair.

I really hope one day they get what they deserve...

Tony Blair warns against Labour move to the left

Um ! so that would be the Thatcherite position seeing as English politics
as moved so far to the right.
Centre ground ? problem with that is Labour went to far right and lost the
support of the working classes. And those on the right could see the Labour
party by carrying out Tory policys had validated the Tory philosophy and so thought
they may as well vote for the real deal rather than Torylite .

will they ever learn on present leadership contenders apart from Jeremy Corbyn
the answer seems to be NO.
