  1. I presume these pictures were not sourced from the BBC.
Had they been, you would have seen pictures of a small crowd around Corbyn and a bigger one around Smith.

    1. Ah no. The BBC was not involved.

I hear that the coverage of the Glasgow rally, which I left out because so many others were covering it, was according to the BBC "twa men and a doag". In fact 5000 people turned out in the rain.

    1. Possibly, added to his extended family.

  3. Although I couldn't vote for Jeremy Corbyn, due to his anti - iScot stance, he strikes me as that rare thing, an honest politician - one who will espouse a cause because he believes in it, rather than because he thinks it will win votes. If the Labour party in Scotland had any like him, they wouldn't be in the mess they are.

    1. Aye Lochee. I thought his stance on Scotland was terrible, but he seems to me to be a decent man who believes what he believes and acts on it. So we disagree on Scotland, but on most other things we are in accord.

  4. Owen Smith reminds me of those tedious candidates on The Apprentice. The kind of person who says things like "I have success for breakfast" or similar nonsense.

As mentioned above, Corbyn's British Nationalism lets him down, but I'm sure he will win. What then for branch office caretaker Kez?

Disreporting Scotland followed the Glasgow march with a quote from someone in the Ruth Party telling us we'll have had our referendum and that the democratic will of Scotland must be respected!!!!!

    1. LOl yews, he does come over as one of these metropolitan sound bite machines, doesn't he.

Well, first Kez was against him, then she was for him and now she's against him. It's hard to know what he stance is... I mean it may even have changed back if he looks like winning. Who knows?

Ruth says that the democratic will of Scotland must be respected, so does that mean that we will be staying in Europe, or does it mean that the democratic will of Scotland must be respected unless it is overridden by the democratic will of the people of England?

    2. I must admit I don't watch much TV, let alone cheap reality shi-ows like 'the Apprentice'.

That 'gameshow' gave a platform for one of the most hateful pieces of humanity (still living) which is not Kelvin Mackenzie.

      'Drowned children are cockroaches' Hopkins.

    3. I've never seen it, Conan, but I've heard about it from people at work over the years... I first came into contact with it when my boss tried out the catchline on me. I had no idea that it was from a show, and genuinely thought the mad old bat had finally lost her marbles completely, YOU'RE FIRED!!!

I'm not entirely sure that Hopkins who would do ANYTHING to make money, is entirely entitled to be called a part of humanity.

She rather reminds me of a dog turd.
