    oh come on the snp have coined it in the Scottish Parliament
    there gravy train is particular rich and thick. Thats why they are
    so fat and content.
    The old gravy train crap just about worked when Labour were driving
    the train but now the snp are on board its they who take! take take.!
    I mean just look at Nicola and spouse positively rolling in the public dosh!

    2. The expenses system in Holyrood was set up by Labour when they set up the parliament. All the rules were devised by the London government, overseen by Tory Blair. If I recall there was a review and the expenses were reduced at least in some areas. The review was under an SNP administration if I'm not mistaken.

      Of course there have been SNP members who have benefited from expenses, along with the other parties, no one would deny that.

      But Westminster remains the place to go if you want money for old rope. Scots MPs have nothing much to do as it is all being done for them by the less well paid MSPs of whatever party. They get to sit around drinking and fighting and making fools of themselves.

      Nicola gets her salary as deputy fm, the same as Nick Clegg gets his bigger salary as deputy pm.
