SOPPY SUNDAY

As ever my thanks to Gerry... Question: which photograph did he send in?

  1. Those were lovely. As for Gerry I was tempted to say the flower. But I'm going to say the Heiland coo. Sublime pictures and the gorillas were great - couldn't see David Attenborough though.

  2. Well that took the wind out of my sails cause I was going to say the rose as well. As wee bitty on the cold side this week, with the penguin in the ice, the icicles and the snaw on the hills, next week some warm stuff please.
Did you know, Munguin excepted of course that penguins carry a terrible disease well bad for us human. Causes lung damage, the keepers in Edinbugh Zoo have to take great care not to catch it. One of the many things I learned when they had members night. The Gorilla had great food there, these lovely fruit tasting biscuits, we got to try them out of sight of the big guy. Do not know what he would have thought if he had seen all these humans tucking into part of his dinner. Used to love visiting him, the big Silver Back, he was so quiet and still.

    1. Ah... I didn't notice that. Sorry, totally unintentional. Next week warmer.

I didn't know about that disease though. Of course Munguin doesn't have it. He's perfect in every way.

Imagine pinching the animals' food though. You should have had your tea before you went!!!

    1. Thanks Marcia. Squirrels are awesome. My next door neighbour gets them coming to his bird feeder. Brilliant.

    2. The other squirrel photo reminds me of the 'nit nurse' that used to come around schools in the 1950's.

    1. Bit scary though. Reminds me of one or two rail lines going into Glasgow Central......
