You thought he was the one no-one would like? Are you trolling the readers now :=) Actually no I don't like the bat. I liked the giraffes. There was a bit in the metro about a 6 day old one that was 5ft 10 already. I dream of being 5ft 10!
Well as to be expected having a Pug I loved the Bat, something beautifully ugly about it. Me and mini me was something else as well, I thought baby owls were bigger by the time they fledged. Also loved the Wolf? and the Tiger cub, given Hektor has a good lot of Wolf genetic material, you want to hear him howl, and to look at you would think that would not be the case, but it is because they are a very old breed.
I have visited the site for over two years now and found your view of the political world interesting and on the mark. But the photographs are just marvellously outstanding, a joy in their own right.

Agreed. I don;t know which one is my favourite. It's comforting to know though, that as the horrible world of British politics rolls on, with all its corruption and evil (not to mention evel), lies and duplicity, that there is such beauty out there, capable of bringing such joy.
The bat picture is hilarious!

DeleteAh, well, but you're and panda and not a giraffe...

I just try to guess what people will like, and what they will dislike. Sometimes I'm wrong, and once or twice I get it right...

ReplyDeleteThanks David. What a nice comment. Fair cheered me up.

Seconded.
DeleteThirded, but I'm not sure about that new contributer!
DeleteLOL Don't worry about her. Munguin's got his beady eye on her.
DeleteI agree with both of David Cunninghams comments ;-)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteBlogspot is having a awkward day today.
I couldn't see any names earlier of posters... but now I really feel I can't take David's repeat post down...
Anyway. Thank you too Douglas. It's appreciated.

Great photies, the tube nosed bat is magically amusing. By the way, I love bats, sorry Panda Paws.
ReplyDeleteTa Jim.
ReplyDeleteI liked him, but, then I liked the spider last week....
All things to do with nature are fascinating I especially like Barney the silent killers.
ReplyDeleteHoverfly.
Blackie in high rise and Robin in downstairs on the right.
We get a lot of Hoverflies in the garden... and we have a family of blackbirds called Bertie and Boris.. the girl is Mabel (don;t ask me why).
DeleteWe also have mice living in the shed, and a family of bees have made their homes in it for the last 3 years.
A Great Tit nested in a nesting box last year and brought up a family.
Honestly, I spend more on bird food than I do on human stuff...

Rorschach: Some nice flowers.

Rorschach: Clouds.
Rorschach: Once a man has seen society's black underbelly, he can never turn his back on it. Never pretend, like you do, that it doesn't exist.
That's a wee bit dark Niko.
DeleteWhat's ailing you son? Tell Uncle Tris.
The owl and its offspring,
ReplyDeleteabsolutely beautiful. :)

DeleteWell Tris the animal world does not do duplicity, that is left to that creature, Mankind. Meant to say Munguin's offspring were very cute too.
DeleteMunguin says thank you.... and you're right, apart form my neighbour's cats, which are downright wicked!
