So Gideon it is.
And by a long way too.
We asked you to pick the person you thought most likely to succeed the Eton boy, from a list of people who have expressed an interest in being leader of the Conservative party, and the next UK prime minister. And you did.
And a sorry bunch they are too, each trying to be nastier, more loathsome and hateful than the other.
And the one you think the most loathsome (and therefore most likely to appeal to the Tories) is the current finance minister Gideon "things go better with" Osborne with 59% of the vote or 120 votes.
Boris the Clown came next with 63 votes, and Mother (not) Theresa was 3rd with 12 votes.
The rest hardly registered on the scale, although even people I'd never heard of got a vote. Seriously has anyone heard of Graham Brady? Some people might have intended to vote for Philip Hammond but just seeing his name put them to sleep, and they may still be snoring.
Interestingly there were 10 votes for "others"... I'd be fascinated to know who the others were. Feel free to let me know.
Iain Duncan -Smith, second time round maybe?
Thanks to everyone who took part. Munguin really appreciates your participation.
