LOVEBOMB FROM THE UNLOVELY KATIE

  1. I'll get in quick here Tris.

As soon as i saw the auld craws picture i was tempted to push off back to Wings. The woman is a ghastly , uneducated , self opinionated snob. No one in their right mind would give her the time of day.

Then at the bottom a wee message to vote YES.

Phew Tris , thought you were losing it there.

Now folks - VOTE YES AND LEAVE SNOBS LIKE HER BEHIND

    1. No no, Richie. I thought that this piece of lovebombing should be shared.

It seems that people like her think of us as monkeys.

Isn't she some kind of failed "apprentice" person that Sir Lord Sugar couldn't be arsed with?

See you tomorrow. Hope the weather's better.

  2. Who is this and why is she important?

Seriously, I've never heard of her, she's obviously completely uninformed, *and* obviously doesn't live in Scotland, so why should we care what she thinks?

Farage's opinions, fair enough, they show an idea of the negotiating line the rUK will take, but as far as I can tell, this person is a nobody.

    1. I think Illy, she was on "The Apprentice" and lost.

So she got herself a job as a "personality" ... a bit like Jordan with wrinkles instead of boobs.

She seems to think of herself as the female version of Davie Starkey, the sort who says stuff to shock, just for the joy of it.

Vapid of course, but you have to hand it to her she's doing a great job form the YES side.

It never ceases to amaze me how newspapers can get away with publishing this kind of crap and the Scottish people still keep buying them, don’t they know it is them, the Scottish people, that they are insulting in this way?

Typical empire attitude, every person in Scotland should be made to read this, then they would see what they were voting to keep, or get rid of.

    1. It's all a bit weird.

I suppose they justify it by saying that it's only the "yes" lot they are talking about.

But people swallow anything. I noticed when Murphy was introduced in Dundee by the local Labour MP (the only Labour parliamentarian in Dundee), he started by saying Welcome comrades.

      Comrades?

      Whit?

Labour with comrades... Not any kind of Labour I recognise.

    2. Ever thought that by publishing this kind of hate and making sure it reaches a huge Scottish audience, the Sun is actually doing 'Yes' a big favour ?
I keep posting Simon Heffer's September 2013 article (Daily Mail) for the same reason. It's how 'London' and it's media sees us. Do we really think they're going to give us more powers, and that they won't cut the amount of our own money we get back from them after a 'No' vote and the 2015 GE ?? It doesn't matter what they promise now - it will have to be agreed by 500+ England-based MP's who already think we get too much !

    3. Absolutely agree elrick.

I'm wondering if the Sun isn't looking like it knows where the money is...

It seems to me that if it doesn't come out for independence, it is at least aware that its readership is voting that way.

The Sun doesn't like to be on the losing side. Not just my opinion. People like Jim Sillars seemed to indicate that the other night at a meeting.

  4. She's no exactly the voice of middle England. Her job is to be reviled, the means by saying as many unpleasant things as she can. Best ignored.

youse lot wanna be careful bashing up Murphy and intimidating Scottish businesses heckling the Prime minister.
on the off chance of a close loss ( unlikely) to Yes they might just set aside the result....gained by bullying and threating voters.

And having reruns until the NO boys get the right result

  11. Was the word our heroine at the top looking for not 'ghastly'? The first page of links to Gastly are apparently to some sort of character in a Pokemon game. I could be wrong, perhaps that is the interstitial space she occupies.

    1. Aye could be Pokemon. You really never know with someone as detached as her.

  12. I have, in a 'Flying Rodent!' sort of a way a reasonable assumption that:

"Isil terrorists 'highly likely' to attack UK, warns David Cameron, as threat level is raised to severe
David Cameron warns country is facing a decades-long battle against terror threat from Syria and Iraq as he announces tough new measures "

that, ISIS don't know where Scotland is on the map, and would be less likely to attack us if we weren't part of the Great British State (TM).

Anyway, biological weapons have exactly the same issue as chemical weapons, if the wind changes..

I am all done with this new attack on a small country on the periphery of Western Europe having it's 'Threat Level' moved to DEFCON 11 because it suits a particular agenda.

    1. Yep, totally agree. If the Yewkay and the YewSuvOEh didn't try to be the planetary polis force, none of this shite would have happened.

    2. Couldn't agree more.

Somehow they think they can go around killing people all over the world, totally innocent people in most cases and that no one, anywhere, is going to try to extract some revenge for the loss of their son or daughter or mother or dog or house or business... lost because some puffed up warmongering murdering psychopath in Downing street was obsessed with being at George W Bush's right hand...

  13. Yes. My immediate reaction was exactly the same as yours Niko.

Known fact. When they want to cover something, the terrorist threat goes up. Might also have been to do with the fact that Cameron was humiliated last night by his own mates in the CBI.

Boris must be hovering over him at the moment...Boris and Nigel... Ye gads.

Of course there may well be some sort of terrorist threat. if you know for a fact that there are no weapons of mass destruction and yet you join in an illegal war on the basis of these non existent weapons, in the process killing hundreds of thousand and maiming more hundreds of thousands of TOTALLY innocent people, wrecking a whole country and its entire infrastructure, it's not THAT unlikely that they are going to HATE you.

I hate them for doing it and I'm not Iraqi.

More of this in next Munguin story coming shortly.

    Agreed JimnA. Squirrels everywhere.

Handy in the run up to them losing Scotland's wealth doncha think?

  17. Do you think that this "increased terrorist threat" will cause Westminster to start closing down places where the public might congregate on September 18, like polling stations for example? Will we all have time to get a (doctored) postal vote?

    1. LOL.

I'm so busy with this stuff I don't usually listen to much news, but I heard tonight that things are getting worse and the muppet was in Europe today telling them what President Obama's policies (and therefore his) are.

I've always expected something to come up towards the date, especially if they thought there was a reasonable chance of losing. This may be it. He may hope that with terrorist threats at red, we will all find ourselves very British. Frankly if the terror threat is red it's because they have gone out and begged to be a terrorist target.

As I've said before. Imagine some middle eastern country, against the will of the UN, had decided to bomb half of Britain, killing and maiming as they went, were checking the infrastructure, taking over the country. Then they had executed David Cameron and some of his government, then made a complete mess of everything and finally withdrawn in hopelessness telling up that they had actually brought democracy, leaving the place in turmoil and ripe for religious fanatics to take over...

Wouldn't we be just a little cross?

I wonder if that is all they will do. I still await a sombre announcement form Buck House, or a terror attack on London.

I see they have spent Millions on security so that the Eton one can play some sort of world statesman role in Cardiff.

Keep it out of london, Dave... don;t want important people hurt.
