Independence isn't about slavery or any other kind of life under the SNP.
It's about whatever kind of life under an elected Scottish government, which, as likely as not would be Labour... but, looking at the way things are going, Labour in Scotland would be a left of centre, dare I say it socialist leaning kind of party.
The unions are starting to move behind independence. They aren't moving behind the SNP or the Greens.
Labour in Scotland is only the bumbling Blairite bollocks it is at the moment because Ed knows it's his only chance to be prime minister and make David REALLY mad.
(Not that I think that will happen. Somehow Cameron will get in again.)
Stop thinking independence and seeing Alex and a large plate of pies and five curries! Start thinking proper Labour John Smith style. Start thinking social justice and decency.
