SNAPS ON SUNDAY

Notice on door.
Because we are all one great nation ...
The Alexander BOTHERS
Lazy bitch. Get down the food bank and help out
if you don't have a job.
So... they might as well not bother publishing Chilcot.
What kind of inhuman society is responsible for this?
Ah, yes, the plague that is IDS.
Just think, starving this kid will probably save £5,000.
As ye sew, so shall ye reap, you bastards.
That's why all four nations must agree to withdraw
before any action is taken.

Just as well that I'm not in charge.
They'd freeze before I gave them a cent.
Easy. She doesn't matter, and being big shots does.
But you don't get Congressional Medals for feeding
hungry kids, do you Mr Blair?
Bunch of profiteering scum.

  1. Most of that was gross generalisation. A bit beyond funny, verging in conspiracy theory populism...

    1. I don't understand Dean.

Which things are generalisations? Which are verging on conspiracy theories...

I take your point of course that some are hardly funny.

  2. Most of it Dean?
what about the bits that hit the nail on the head then, is that acceptable in your view?
So when we highlight the disgusting behavior of the Tories (rd/blue) towards ordinary people the response is to call us Nazi's isn't it?

    1. I think Labour did refer to some people as Nazis, becasue someone thought it was so close to Nats that it was a smart idea to spread the word and let the notion grow that there was an association between Alex Salmond and Adolf Hitler.

Interestingly, they went on to describe "nationalism" as a virus, whilst busily waving union jacks, trotting out the Queen, holding that the British Olympics were the best on the world, and blaming everything on the EU.

  3. It's a crass generalisation to claim that exceptional cases are somehow 'the norm' for Tory treatment of ordinary voters.

Besides, it is totally conspiracy-nuttery to pretend that any political party loves to beat-up the electorate. CLUE: they want re-elected, so no, they don't have a fetish for beating on the meak.

Take the tin-foil hats off chaps.

(maybe with this comment my ability to type has improved! lol)

If it's the sick child being denied benefits, you only have to look at papers every day to find that the DWP is getting its results by treating people like subhumans. http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2015/01/every-time-i-visit-job-centre-staff-treat-me-subhuman

Many politicians, we all know, treat us with disdain for most of the electoral cycle, and then come fawning after us in the last few months before an election. Local , national, supranational... the majority of them do this.

If it's about lazy royals that live the life of Reilly on the taxpayer... well, they do. If Beatrice is going to live on public money, she should be out doing something for it. not taking holidays left right and centre. The York branch of that family is particularly lazy and feckless.

LOL Don't talk to me about typing. I'm gonna have to get Munguin to get me a typist.

    2. Dean if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck it is a duck. Munguin has no generalisation there only the bitter truth. If you prefer to shut your eyes to the wrongs around you, then when they come for you and your pocket please do not squeal like a stuck pig, because you will find that nobody will care.
The trouble with the so secure middle class is that as long as everything is tickety boo for them, then to hell with everyone else. I fear you will if you continue to vote accordingly will discover that those people, the ones in power and those trying to achieve power, who I know you do not vote for, are only willing to save those who have the power and the money and I doubt you have the sort of money I am talking about.

  4. Highlighting the deciet and misinformation of our masters is popularism and gross generalisation, is it?
I suppose you'd rather just let them, fleece the public purse, punish the poor and sick, spend obscene amounts of money on the machines of war and sell of our institutions for private gain?
How does this boarder on conspiracy? When the facts are there, for all to see, if they choose to see them.

      Thanks for that link.

I'm not really surprised. I used to have a good opinion of Carwyn Jones but he's diminished a lot in my view by some of the things he said during the referendum.

If you joined Labour to be in a movement to make life better for the working classes, then surely being part of New labour (and it is still New Labour, no matter what they say about One Nation Labour) must be a huge frustration to you.

Leaving a movement you have been in isn't easy. This kind of thing takes courage.

I see that in Scotland despite a new local leader, this big hitter of theirs from London is to be sidelined as the saviour of the world and the union, is sent north once again, this time to save the Labour Party.

Is there no end to Gordon Brown's saving abilities?

      Delete
    2. Not when it comes to his own "savings".

    3. Ah yes... that is another thing he's accomplished at.

    4. Don't worry about Gordon, he wrote it in the Telegraph, hardly anyone who votes Labour reads it. I think he is after the Tory Vote, if you continue to the comments section you will see why.

    5. Oh I never got as far as the comments.

      I'll have a look.

  6. I don't put a note on the door to deter red/blue tory canvassers. If you don't let them know how you're going to vote they think you're an undecided or at least persuadable, they'll talk to you for ages, and have less time to lie to anyone else. I've no poker face so I'm a bit crap at this game too, but my pal can keep them there for 20 minutes.

    1. Actually, I'd be far more inclined to want to do that too, Anon.

It's just no one except the SNP ever seems to come to my door.

The day before the referendum I got a canvasser at the door, about 8.30 ...

I really hoped it was someone from NO, but of course it was someone from YES. And over the last few election s, I've only ever had SNP people knocking at my door. I suppose living in Dundee that's not so surprising.

Nice to waste the time of the opposition LOL.

    2. We got a Labour chap at the door the one and only time we had visitors, just wished he had turned up a day later, boy I can string someone along if I choose.

    3. Rotten bad luck. I'd love half an hour with someone who could explain to me why Labour is now a right of centre party of the banks and big business.

Maggie Curran would be a delight.

    1. Not by a very very long way.

But everyone will publicise it as much as possible and the decent people of Glasgow and Scotland will rally to their aid. Because that's what they are like.
