When I went to school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I answered "happy". They said that I hadn't understood the question; I answered that they hadn't understood life.

True, isn't it?

    Happy Days are here again

    So long sad times
    Go long bad times
We are rid of you at last

    Howdy gay times
    Cloudy gray times
You are now a thing of the past

    Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So let's sing a song of cheer again
    Happy days are here again

    Altogether shout it now
    There's no one
    Who can doubt it now
So let's tell the world about it now
    Happy days are here again

Your cares and troubles are gone
There'll be no more from now on
    From now on ...
    Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So, Let's sing a song of cheer again

    Happy times
    Happy nights
    Happy days
    Are here again!

Blue skys nothing but blue skys for now on..

  2. I placed a comment on this thread this morning which seems to have been pulled?

  3. Congratulations Niko. You guys did well!

I think you gained more or less exactly the same number of seats that we did...

My rough calculations (based on Scottish TV figures)

Labour won 63 seat, lost 5 = nett gain 58

    SNP won 67, lost 3 = nett gain 64

Not a lot in it I'd say.

  4. Lordy No, wolfie. I only pull comments when they contain sweary words, and only then gratuitously sweary words.

I certainly haven't ever pulled any of yours!!!!!

Hold on, I'll try to check to see if somehow the Spam Filter was working overtime, feeling a bit guilty about all the spam it's been letting through recently!

  5. No Wolfie. It's not in Spam; it's not in awaiting moderation... It's not anywhere.

    I'm sorry about that.... :(

  7. Ah, It got through this time, Wolfie.

I haven't got a clue where I got it from; I copied it ages ago so that I could use it when I was particularly busy. (I was busy over the last few days!)

If you give me a email address (send it to trispw@gmail.com) Ill copy the pic to you. Although you should be able to save it from the blog to your pics, and thence to your mates emails!

If worst comes to worse I'll type out the French script for you... its only a few words, and you should be able to copy that!

    :)

I wonder about the drawing of Lamont though. Maybe you've seen something the rest of us miss....a smile. I wonder how you got her to do that?????
