Blackadder, Blackadder, you horrid little man

  1. One George was a comedy character the other was a tragedy.
who got his strange stance from falling of the roof when
he attempted to fix the section which covered his friends
and nobody else But he overreached and fell off...

    1. LOL And there was me thinking his publicly funded "image consultant" was responsible. But that's a much more reasonable explanation!

  2. His Bio

    "Charmless Man"

I met him in a crowded room
Where people go to drink away their gloom
He sat me down and so began
The story of a charmless man
    Educated the expensive way
He knows his claret from a beaujolais
I think he'd like to have been Ronnie Kray
But then nature didn't make him that way

He thinks his educated airs those family shares
Will protect him, that you will respect him
He moves in circles of friends who just pretend that they like him
He does the same to them and when you put it all together
There's the model of a charmless man

He knows the swingers and their cavalry
Says he can get in anywhere for free
I began to go a little cross eyed
And from this charmless man I just had to hide

He talks at speed he gets nose bleeds
He doesn't see his days are tumbling down upon him
Yet he tries so hard to please he's just so keen for you to listen
But no-one is listening and when you put it all together
There's the model of a charmless man

He thinks his educated airs, those family shares
Will protect him, that you will respect him
Yet he tries so hard to please he's just so keen for you to listen

    1. We know, Niko. You got a doctorate in it!

    2. Niko, you should be a professor at the UUT, with tenure.
In comparison to your good self, Deano is a Jim Murphyesque character, and has thus far failed to graduate in trolling.

    1. So unhinged he looks like he's about to become totally detached and fall over!!

I like Niko's description in the first comment, on how they came by that stance.

    1. Apparently, that is known as "sharting".

    2. I once 'sharted' on holiday in Corfu. Luckily it happened about 50 yards from the sea, and a quick sprint into the med rectified the situation. I was only wearing a pair of shorts at the time, and an onlooker would only have thought i had extremely tanned legs. :-)

  9. If I remember that episode correctly, a couple of the characters daren't mention the "Scottish Play".
The character on the left might have the same aversion.

    1. LOL. He's certainly not a fan of Scotland.

      Don't mention John Swinney!

  12. Niko and his fellow-travellers have ensured that the 'charmless man' will be with us for the foreseeable future.

    1. Well... there are various possibilities. Brexit would surely see him gone... or too much laughing and joking partying and coking...

  13. The post genuinely made me smile. I wonder what George would look like in that wig?
