  1. Cute story! And several million points for marketing initiative to the vets in Uddingston!

    1. True. But as you say cute, and it put a smile on my face after an horrific week!

  2. Made me smile too, because the mice up here in the Far North would have the face aff ye for even looking at them funny. I hope our new broadcasters, www.scottishnews.scot find a wee place for stories like these in their broadcasts.
I'm sorry, I'm not good with links, but you can also find their announcement on Twitter this morning. It's great news that we at last about to have a broadcasting service which is for Scottish viewers and not wee flung on bits at the end of the state broadcasters' efforts for "where YOU are".
They need some money to set up, and I have already sent them my cancelled BBC licence fee.

    1. This is excellent HM...

      Thanks CH.

I can tell you though that some of the mice in Dundee are pretty hard wee beasties too... specially the ones in the Hilltown. Mess with them at your peril!

This wee soul was sick though, so he was probably quite placid!

  3. What a brave wee mouse to enter an establishment full of wee terriers and cats. I have seen big dugs creeping in or being dragged in by their owners and there is a wee mouse attending on his own. Gad they were able to fix him up. Used to have one who lived in my compost heap, a nice wee soul who never ever did any harm and according to my ex neighbour the family is still around.
HV, I saw that, will have to see what money I am left with considering my Vet has further claims on me this month. I am already over £50 down with the last visit and he may do mice free but dugs cost big time.

    1. I've got a wee family of them live in the garden. I make sure that there's plenty for them to eat... and stuff they can make warm nests out of. They sometimes steal the birds' food; they are fond of these suet pellets. But they seem to like sultanas most of all.

They scare the life out of my neighbours... which is not a bad thing as most of them (the neighbours) are poisonous!

    1. I read the interview over at Stuart's place, M. All sounds really good, and far more worth the money that the Biased Broadcasting Company.
