RANDOM PHOTOGRAPHS...

Yes. We did it. I'm up there on the billboard behind the big E at the top.
Two Teams, One City, One goal.
Credit to Andy Clark and his Dundee FC
counterpart.
This should get John Brownlie's attention
Imagine being terrified by threats from Flipper
 trying to save his peerage
Not photoshopped I'm told, and on the Kilpatrick Hills
There's a woman that doesn't need Paul to chivvy her
and she's real, not an actress reading  words written by Flipper
as he desperately tried to save his seat in the Lords
This is the kind of things she's talking about.
It might have been semi acceptable in the days before
Gordon Brown brought down the company pension s scheme
We have streets like this in Dundee
Yes City. I've only seen two No windows and literally
thousands of Yes windows.
Even the No signs in the grounds of Baroness Strange's
castle have been removed.
There's something logical about that, isn't there?
Instead in Britain we have poverty wages which have to be
subsidised by social security, and then the people who allow
this situation call the recipients "skivers".
Go tell that to Johann Lamont who thinks it is a virus.
Stupid woman.
Fine legacy guys. And yes, you can say that you were
hampered by Tory governments who never gave you enough
money. But then there was that 13 year period
of Labour government. Although you could be excused
for not noticing it.
It was pretty indistinguishable from Tory government.

Which is why the Scottish government has frozen council tax.
It's bad enough the rent is unpayable on minimum wage
without the council tax going up too.
Oh dear.  Oh dear, oh dear.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!

TWO TEAMS. ONE CITY. ONE GOAL.

So, we were starting to get ourselves arranged, and we thought
they were taking photographs, so along with "Y" and "S"  (I was the E)
we held our letters up.  They weren't ready and
at the end of the session when everyone was in place my arms
were killing me.Turns out "S" was, as we suspected, upside down!
At least it wasn't the "E"!
Or the "Y". This is Robbie. He was in charge of "Y"
Yes, still holding the "E"... Still it at least hid my face,
although it's a pity it missed my orange and blue YES t-shirt.
Kudos to Andy Clark and Gary Crocker for organising.

RIVALS IN FOOTBALL BUT JOINED TOGETHER WITH ONE GOAL IN VIEW

Tannadice Park
I just got a message from Andy Clark, a Facebook friend in Dundee.

It's a worthwhile cause and I'm absolutely delighted to see that this Joint Billboard campaign is just that... it a joint effort with Dundee Fans for Yes and Dundee United Supporters for Independence Group.

I've said to Andy that I'll put the invitation up on the blog. It would be great to get a big turnout and get the message across that for all the rivalry between our two teams in Dundee, we can work together when something is this important.
Dens Park
If anyone finds themselves with a few quid spare... well, that's up to you. The aim is to take up Billboard space outside Dens and Tannadice in Dundee just before the referendum, in the first few weeks of the new season. It's a brilliant idea and is bound to turn a few heads, particularly when they see two rival teams working together with one serious aim in mind.

Here's the message:

As a member of the Dundee United Supporters for Independence Group, I would like to invite you to the launch of our Joint Billboard Campaign with Dundee Fans for Yes, on Sun 29th June, at 1pm, City Square, Dundee. For more details, click on the link and join the page to confirm your attendance:

You can also support our campaign by contributing atP:

We've already raised almost half of our £2200 target in 2 weeks. With your help we can reach our goal, engage the fans and make the final push for a Yes vote in September.

I would be delighted to have your support in what we're sure will be a very successful campaign in getting the Independence message across to, not just our own fans but those all over Scotland.

Here's to the first derby in an Independent Scotland.

Andy
The two parks...within a few meters of each other
Promise I'll be at the first Derby in iScotland, Andy... you can count on it.
