The ultimate highlight of any T.V. night's viewing had to be Bird,Bremner and Fortune. Whilst Rory Bremner was always funny I'm afraid he always took second place to these two ultimate comedians.
As you say they researched their pieces extremely well and of course without a shadow of doubt they highlighted the ultimate incompetence with which Britain was being governed.
Remember the clip about the R N was made before the Olympics when the MSM and Westminster political parties were completely oblivious to this elephant in the Whitehall room.
