Having ref...I wonder if plan B is in fact, plan A.<br /><br />Having refused the offer of equitable currency union for reasons that do not make economic sense, the UK Government will be seen unreasonable.<br /><br />The Scottish Government will then be seen as being reasonable for opting for sterlingisation and not accepting the responsibility for any liabilities.<br /><br />I believe that it had to be done this way so that Scotland can proceed without the liabilities and retain its financial reputation.
