I was driving west of Denver on the major "Interstate" highway across the state, and turned off at a scenic overlook near the Eisenhower tunnel at 11,000 ft at Loveland Pass. I just walked briskly across the gentle upward slope of the parking lot and was suddenly breathing so hard it was scary. Coloradans seem to take the lack of air in stride though. They have to rescue the people from Missouri who drive to Colorado in about 12 hours......up to the 10,000 ft ski runs at Vail or Aspen.......and then sometimes faint from oxygen deprivation. (Happened to a friend of mine....LOL.) I too would be more relaxed if my Dug would actually like anything, he and I had one bad night last night. I may have had no Halloween visitors but the trickster was living with me. If I was out with his Lordship once last night it became six times before I left him and went to my bed. Needless to say he is now stretched out sleeping like we were actually friends.
